Our vision is one of cultural wholeness that includes developing: cultural competence at a systems level; the cultural humility of service providers; and the cultural dignity of participants, their families and communities.
We believe that we are living in a crucial historical moment of civilizational crisis and change, in which we must overcome an old vision of the world based on separation, individualism, competition, and commodification of life and living systems; toward a new paradigm of connection, interdependence, solidarity, and collaboration. Our efforts are devoted to the creation of new language about and understandings of the self, relationships, and social services to foster social justice and emancipation and the creation of peaceful communities.
